Follow me down to the factory
Do not be scared
The other night did not feel right
Now I have come prepared
Underground, we won’t be found
The glowing city sleeps
Knife in hand, you take a stand
Against society
Throwing rocks through windows
Steady, take your aim
Abandoned rooms, machinery
You haven’t any name
And, without a name, I could just stay here
Without a name, I could just stay here
Follow me down to the creek
So muddy and abused
Take off your clothes, nobody knows
For love, you can’t refuse
Broken glass, green water mouth
Filled up and riding high
Bleeding strong and something’s wrong
A spell cast in July
Whispered softly in your ear
“Become clay in my hands
Wild, wild, come closer, child
Give me one last dance”
And, with this dance, I could take you
With this dance, I could take you
Follow me back to my house
Come in, the water’s warm
Razor blade and rose parade
I know just how to charm
Pots and pans stacked all around
The room is caving in
Up the stairs, now if you dare
Close your eyes and count to ten
Arms and legs and poetry
Brushing up against me
Grace and style, she’s worth my while
But she’s something I can’t be
And if I can’t be, then I can become
If I can’t be, then I can become
If I can’t be, then I can become
If I can’t be, then I can become
